This was an awesome opportunity which my college department brought to our school. It was a weekend class consisting of two ten hour days during which the representatives from Meyer Sound Laboratories taught our group many things including utilizing different forms of line arrays, and using their loudspeaker simulation software, MAPP. I learned many things during this long weekend, including some very interesting looks at subwoofer arrays and multiple line arrays. After this weekend I had a much better grip on live sound reproduction, and if I am not sure about something, being able to utilize the tools necessary to discover my own solution to problems.
